Baby Maestro Arrives!

Some of you may have heard already, but there's a new Lyle in town. "Baby Maestro" (Raymond Thomas Lyle) was born around 1pm on Wednesday, January 3rd, and was the 2nd baby of the New Year for Ishpeming. He just barely missed being the first baby of the year for both Ishpeming and Marquette. One day earlier and we'd have made the news.

Raymond was born seven pounds eight ounces, and 20 inches long, and was delivered by c-section. Both mom and baby are doing great, though we were all a bit exhausted after the week and a half prior to delivery, in and out of the hospital, with four failed attempts at inducing labor before giving up on medication and going with a cesarean. We've gotten to know the hospital staff in the birthing ward at Bell Memorial pretty well!
