Scams & Spam
Anytime you receive notices (whether by email or the old fashioned way through the Post Office) about your Web related services, don't hesitate to check with us prior to taking action. You can usually find out a lot just by going to www.google.com and entering the subject of the email or company name as search words and checking out the results. If it's a scam, chances are that someone else has already seen it and posted some information.
Here are some examples we've seen...
- "Attention: Important Notice!" (Email/Web Scam)
- "Scheduled Maintenance" (Email Phishing)
- Domain Service Notice (Email Domain Scam)
- ISP Renewal Internet Services (Email Domain Scam)
- "Account Needs Updating" (Email Phishing)
- Domain Registry of America (Snail-Mail Domain Scam)
- Liberty Names of America (Snail-Mail Domain Scam)
- Payment Now Due from "Corp-Billing" (Email Domain Scam)
- JaMaYcKa HaCkEr (Website Hack)
Maybe it's morbid, but lately we've found ourselves being amused by some of the spam we've seen. We decided to start displaying our favorite spam on it's own page.
